Course Description

The AME course is designed to give the students a comprehensive knowledge of aircraft and its systems to become skilled and competent maintenance professional by following the laid down maintenance practices. The essential instructions include:

• 1. Providing necessary theoretical and practical knowledge to the students to acquire AME License, issued by DGCA
• 2. Knowledge of Aircraft Rules, Civil Aviation Requirements & Human performance etc
• 3. Theoretical and practical knowledge of Aircraft structure & Aero engines
• 4. Knowledge of workshop practices, use of special & general tools.
• 5. Familiarization with the design, construction, operation & maintenance of aircraft and associated equipments.
• 6. Correct maintenance practices & inspection procedures to be followed during aircraft maintenance
• 7. Basic knowledge of aircraft - Electrical, Instruments & Radio Navigation equipments, Fuel, Lubricants, Metal & materials
• 8. Necessary judgment and competency required to access the airworthiness of aircraft & its equipment.
